I did a photoshoot yesterday for an upcoming magazine interview. We shot a few rolls by the electrical engineering building on the UC Berkeley campus, where I was mobbed by freshmen girls, and a few rolls in a local bar, where I was not. I felt a little self-conscious working it for the camera in the middle of the day in a very public place. I wonder how many photoshoots you have to do before that goes away.
I have to say that the photoshoot is a somewhat more positive experience when the photographer is trying to make you look cool, rather than as geeky as possible.

I like to think of it as “encountered” rather than “mobbed” =)
At first we had just wanted a picture or two with you when we heard you were outside, but you seemed like so much fun to talk to that on our way to lunch, we were hoping to run into you again and see if you were in the mood for some Brazil Cafe. Maybe next time, eh? Good meeting you!

Forget the photoshoot, what about my photos of you? Now those are the keepers :)
“I wonder how many photoshoots you have to do before that goes away.”
An infinite number… what do the self-conscious feelings feel like? If you focus on the strongest self-conscious feeling and trace it back, what does it remind you of? When was the first time you felt it?
Whatever memory comes to mind first is probably the one, even though you don’t believe it… like it’ll be the time your mom put you in a suit for the school photo or something dumb like that, and you felt self-conscious. You’ll always feel self-conscious in similar situations until you change the emotional association in your mind – try my video on the front page of tapping.com :) :) :)
Hi there! ^_^
First of all, I wanna tell you that when I was watching the show here in the philippines, you already had the potential to look gorgeous. For me that is. Have fun. ^_^
