I support tipping

God bless American customer service. After three trips to London, I really appreciate it. At a Thai restaurant this evening, my dinner was so spicy I could barely eat it. The waitress noticed and brought me a free Thai iced tea. Compare this to London where I almost went into shock when I got the chance to make a free photocopy. More industries should incorporate tips..

Yeh Niels, I agree! Being from old blightly myself I have noticed when going to countrys where tipping is more popular (Canada), the service is better!

  • Ahhh, American customer service…how i miss it…..

I was at an Indian restaurant recently here in Australia. I ordered a sag paneer, that was just completely inedible. I think it had more salt in it than it had sag or paneer put together. When I told the waitress, she said she’d take it back to the chef. She returned with it a minute later and put it back in front of me telling me, “The chef said that is how it is supposed to tase,” and walked away.

I do not hate having to tip 15-20 percent in America at all!!!
