They’re letting anybody in Germany now…

My passport was glanced at briefly when I checked in in Seattle and when I transferred planes in Paris, but I didn’t go through immigration or customs or anything in Munich. Just walked through the open, unmanned turnstile. Hope this doesn’t create a problem when I try to leave…

Its called EU. France > Germany is like Seattle > LA now. There are more checks on ground though. They probably are more lax because of all the security just to get into the airport.

  • Better safe than sorry. There’s no excuse for anybody to be lax. US, EU, where ever one may be, we deserve the right to have a peace of mind in our travels… the least thing that they can do is to conduct decent security checks.
