I’m off to Chicago today! I’m excited – it’s my first time in Chicago and I’ll be there through New Year’s. But seriously, who puts their wedding between Christmas and New Year’s? Everyone is cutting their vacation and family time short in order to attend. And I’m willing to be there won’t be any moon bounces here, either.

OMG – I totally saw you at Game Works last night! I recognized your face from across the room, and was struck by that feeling of ‘I need to remember WHO this person is, and how it is that I know them before they see and recognize me’…but then it sunk in that you weren’t an old acquaintance, but someone I knew from TV. Hadn’t read your blog before, but found you on-line after I got home (had to confirm it was really you I’d seen, after all). Seems like you are in my neck of the woods, and have to ask if you’re attending a wedding of anyone I’d recognize in a similar way..? Enjoy your first visit to the greater Chicago land!
