The Sydney intro seminar rocked! We’re coming back to Australia and we’re coming back in a big way.
We headed out to celebrate. Sydney is stunning at night.
This was cool. Town Hall was lit by a bunch of projectors that changed every couple minutes. Never have I seen anything so beautiful and so hideously tacky at the same time.
The Beauty and the Geek interview videos are up! I hear mine is great, but the connection here in the internet cafe is too slow to watch it. Boo. You’ll have to let me know what you think. Thanks to Piao for the link.
Edit: Just watched the video. Kind of. Oh God, it’s just too painful. I had to turn away.
This is going to be a very very long season.
Got a few more photos from Melbourne. Did I mention the ice bar was really really cold? Oh, and there I am looking studly on the observation deck of the Rialto tower in Melbourne.
Not much to say about Brisbane (“Brizzy,” if you speak the native language). I spent most of it cooped up inside the hotel room preparing to give an intro seminar. Daniel and I did manage to find a few minutes to explore the river walk.
The trip didn’t feel real until we arrived in Sydney, a moment gloriously captured by Daniel as we got off the plane.
We checked into the Hilton and headed out to explore, starting off with the obligatory tourist attractions – the harbor bridge (did I mention that I’ve peed off that?) and the opera house. I’m back home! Ah, Sydney, how I missed you.
